What this service is

Topcoatly is software for a painting contracting business: free worksheets that compute on the page, and a paid plan that keeps estimates, invoices and job records. We are the vendor: you buy the subscription from us directly, and there is no agency, broker or intermediary anywhere in it.

How we are paid

Topcoatly Pro is a monthly subscription: you pay us, Ellul Solutions Ltd, the legal entity you contract with, and that name appears on your Stripe receipt. It renews monthly at the price shown until you cancel.

Online payments. When you connect your own Stripe account and take a payment through a pay link, Topcoatly charges a platform fee of 1% of that payment, in addition to Stripe's own processing fee. Stripe deducts both from the payment before it is paid out to you; Topcoatly never holds your customers' money. The rate that applies is the one shown in your account on the day the pay link is created, and a change to it applies only to links created afterwards.

No warranty

The worksheets compute from the figures you enter and the method stated on each page. They are arithmetic, not a book rate, not a quotation and not advice on licensing, bonding, insurance or lead-safe work practices; those are your state's rules and your own adviser's answer.
